How practice works
Choose the times tables you want, how many questions to answer, and press Start. Type the answer or tap the number pad, then press Enter or ✓ to check it. If you get one wrong, you'll see the right answer and the same question comes back a little later.
Every answer is saved on your device, so the progress page can show which facts you know and which need more work. For a single table, use its own page, such as the 7 times table.
Frequently asked questions
Which times tables should I practise first?
Start with 2, 5 and 10, then 3, 4 and 8, and finish with 6, 7, 9, 11 and 12. Pick one or two new tables at a time and mix in ones you already know.
What are tricky facts?
Facts you got wrong or answered slowly. They're saved on your device, and the My tricky facts button practises just those.
How many questions should I do each day?
Twenty questions a day, about five minutes, is plenty. Little and often works better than one long session.
